Wow, I really gotta sum myself up right here, right now? Well, I yelled at two policemen a couple days ago, so I can be angry (man, I was rude)...but I cry when I watch Animal Planet. Umm, the hipper you are, the more I distrust you. I love raw truth in people, which is probably why I love animals more. I love my bike and ride it everywhere, even in the rain. I'm my own worst critic, but I'm proud of the things I've set out to do and accomplished. My goal is and has always been to do things I believe in, and am still learning to put my action where my mind and heart are. I'm a personal trainer right now but I hate how that sounds because even my first thoughts are matching workout pants & jackets and Tony Little, with his short, squat muscular body and his pony tail, screaming really, really positive things at people. Ugh. What I do is, uh, definitely NOT like that. But that's a whole other blog subject. I also helped dream up and put into action a little place called the True Love Coffeehouse here in Sacto, CA with Kevin, my husband and partner in crimes and projects. Umm, THAT definitely is the subject of yet another blog entry. Before that I taught ceramic sculpture to developmentally disabled adults. And I was the main photographer for Alive & Kicking for a couple years there, and did band photos for some local and not-so-local bands and publications while I was at it. I'm a singer, and I play guitar and keyboards. But really, really, really I just have a knack and a love for singing harmonies and had to learn to play some instruments so I wouldn't just stand there feeling silly. I'm a big softy that LOVES flowers and DIRT and propogates plants and recycles and composts. One year I grew 42 tomato plants from seed & supplied several friends with complete gardens of their own because I couldn't bring myself to kill any of the plants. But I'm no DAMN hippy, I'm full of hate like the rest of you. I've just got my own ideas on sunshine.
