I am a conservatory trained classical trumpet player. When I graduated from The Cleveland Institute of Music I came to the St. Louis area. Soon after I got here I started to play trumpet with the group called Vargas Swing. On a dare I started to sing with them and then soon after I started to write songs for the group. Vargas Swing went on two west coast tours and 2 southern tours, put out the CD "Fire", and had songs that I wrote for the group featured on compilations. The band then became Vargas and allowed my writing styles to expand. Then next project I was involved in was Urban Jazz Naturals, an live and original electronic music project playing styles of house music, hip-hop, drum and bass, etc...Urban Jazz Naturals had a couple of tracks remixed and released and nationally recognized and put out two CD s of their own. After Urban Jazz Naturals, myself and my long time music partner/colleague formed an electronic duo called the Remix Project. I currently have 4 new projects that I play with. 3 of them are my own. Dawn unplugged, me without drums or beats, The Dawn Weber Project, me with a band and live drums playing my originals, Dawn and The Electro Funk Assembly, my electonica project, and Treble Clef Palette, my funk, soul, groove project.
