ABOUT

I grew up torn between two very different countries, two cultures, two ways of life: the Mitteleuropean Prague and the Mediterranean Tuscany. Long travels up and down Europe every year, spending my time admiring the landscape out of the auto window. The hotel was my house. In my childhood the taste of Mitteleuropa was enlightening: bitter winters spent counting snowflakes around me, delighted by the silence of the woods, feeling always towered over grand Gothic and commie buildings. But in my heart there are also the warmth and the laughters of Italy, the gentle hills, the sun, the fragrance of wine and the colorful ceramics.

Let's sail across the space on a stolen spaceship, let's surf on the snow with the aliens, getting wet in the sparkling moonbeams. Art is the fairground of my fantasy, here I can play with my soul and express all the experiences I encounter every day, creating my own world of ethereal labyrinthine nonentities. Warping the reality we live in is my need, to feel that everything is a steamy dream of transparent figures, an insane fable. In my dreams painters separate purple into red and blue. Irrational refractions, specular mazes, distortions, reflections, shimmers, tricks in the endless repetitions of a mirror in my world, a carnival of lights. Inspiration is all around me: the beauty of contemporary architecture, the sun light in my eyes, fragments of glass falling from a starry sky, noises in our cities, the sound of the night, neon lights on wet ground after raining, the fragrance of spices. Illusion, madness, the material feeling of mystery are the only way to immortalize myself and the world. The reality does not cause a foggy dissolution, but a utopia: it works miracles, materializing the spirits. A world curiously split is rising, where fantasy and riddles keep its rights. Imagination finds the mythical connection between human history and the history of the cosmos: this is why I always look for what is sensual, hypnotic, lunar, bright and dark at the same time. I need to sense the mystical energy that things give off. My mind follows moon dissonances and I depend on the magic cyclicity of the time. Like a morfeonauta I move to the hyperuranium, dreaming in a corner. The day is dawning, the sun spins the strobe and throws lightning round the edge of space: the universe is speaking to us, let’s listen to it and capture emotions!

I am actually trying to join different forms of art, making experimentations with the matter of our souls. Know your past for a future full of moving force. I am always in the mix... eclecticism is a way of imagination and the art of mixing is an attitude. Here is my need to be nothing whilst being everything, trying to shack up with the opposites and the contradictions inside me. We already live in the future, the post contemporary era is here: cyber-fairy metropolis around us...metropolitan exoticisms, techno seductions, sensual scents, a strong, spiced perfume, an enchanted alchemy. Today’s world is made of electronic kaleidoscopes, urban hallucinations, creative dizzy spells and epileptic architectures. We are in a period of transition: what are we looking for? What do we want? Laughter, love, dreams. What is art now? Everything...we just have to excite our imagination and our mind to discover new ways of creation. Matter and the body are sensual, the spirit and energy are ethereal magic. I project myself forward to find the unexpected beauty, searching for the light, for the bizarre and weird part of my ideas, to cover everything with transparent paints and perfumed voiles. Life, music, theatre are my raison d'être: so I open the curtain of my visionary mind, to reveal uncanny pantomimes and perturbing shadows. Only the pursuit of the inner beauty of things will save the world. All we need is a sprinkling of glittering powder to bring colour to life. So welcome happy future and moon girls.
