Charles Webster moved to the United States after working with American techno mavericks Juan Atkins, Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson.
The producer/engineer/recording artist has worked with the R&S and Hardkiss imprints, but gained fame with his Love From San Francisco label. Webster's acid-inspired productions with Presence ("My Baby," "White Powder") became instant deep house standards. A Love from San Francisco compilation was released in 1995. ~ John Bush
