"Born in Memphis, Tennessee, raised on the Zanone bayou, and spending years in Atlanta, Georgia, artist Kathryn Brawley is the genuine narrator of collective stories through her songs. She became active in the local Memphis music scene years ago, after writing biting song after biting song. And playing her first bar, Kathryn said everyone made her feel at home --she had an audience eager to hear her soulful lullabies. These would be the people to stand by her and push her forward through the years, making her fanbase more widespread.
