With the entry of guitarist Angel Moreno and Andres Calafat on bass were formalized as one of the pioneering bands of the thrash metal genre in Venezuela.

In 2010 kraptor was elected to open the festival "MONSTERS OF ROCK" in Maracay city, Venezuela. The festival had like headliner band the germans "TANKARD". The show gave known to kraptor among the most loyal fans of the genre in this country.

His first album came out in February 2011, entitled: "FUCKING LIAR", this EP containing six songs with varied lyrics, also possessing a raw and devastating sound. This material gave to kraptor very good reviews from fans of thrash metal scene worldwide.

With help of internet, blogs, and other social networks, their material has been distributed to many countries, so, which caught the attention of the mexican label "CADAVER PRODUCTIONS" which offered the band a contract for the reproduction and distribution of "FUCKING LIAR" in physical, around the globe.

They also had the opportunity to share the stage with national and international bands of great renown such as: violator (Brazil), pendejo (Holland) tankard (Germany), yaotl mictlan (USA), intoxxxicated, inquisidor, brain wash, anabantha (Mexico), natastor, krueger, blasphemy (Venezuela), war thrashed, hedor, cuentos de los hermanos grind (Colombia) and others.

In 2012 kraptor announces the release of its new and first full-length album which is titled "NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD" is also released under the label "CADAVER PRODUCTIONS" The album has the participation of Pedro Poney, lead singer from one of the most recognized bands in the thrash metal scene of the world from our days: VIOLATOR. Also the special participation from one of the most representative and forceful voices of the new wave in the Bay Area: Rick Rangel from FUELED BY FIRE. The album was made with the same team that participated in the earlier work: Carlos Newball as sound engineer and producer and Geronimo Ballesteros in the design and artwork on the disc.

For the month of August, 2012 kraptor takes an tour for Mexico under the name "KRAPTOR'S UNDEAD CHRONICLES TOUR MEXICO 2012" referring to one of the main themes of his new album. During this tour the band counted eight dates all over Mexico, publicizing this way even more the material to all fans of the genre.

In 2012 kraptor was chosen to be the support band of brazilians VIOLATOR in "METAL WARRIOR FEST VI" in Bogota, Colombia.

Currently the album "NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD" is being distributed in countries like Germany, Mexico, Indonesia, England, Chile, Argentina, El Salvador, Venezuela, Colombia, Japan and has excellent reviews by several zines and producers, as well as musicians from other recognized bands in the thrash metal scene, who gave their opinion about this new album in a teaser video that the band released for all their social networks.

Kraptor es una banda de thrash metal fundada en 2007 por el vocalista y guitarrista Felipe "Phill" Alvarez y por el batería Jessy Jaimes en la ciudad de San Cristóbal. Con la entrada del guitarrista Angel Moreno y Andrés Calafat en el bajo se formalizaron como una de las bandas de thrash metal pioneras del género en Venezuela.

En el año 2010 Kraptor fue elegido para abrir el festival "MONSTERS OF ROCK" en la ciudad de Maracay, Venezuela. Dicho festival tuvo como banda headliner a los alemanes "TANKARD". El show dio a conocer a Kraptor entre los fanáticos más fieles del género en este país.

Su primer trabajo discográfico salió a la luz en febrero del año 2011, titulado: "FUCKING LIAR", un EP que contiene seis temas con líricas muy variadas, también poseedor de un sonido crudo y devastador. Este material da a Kraptor muy buenas criticas de parte de los seguidores de la escena del thrash metal en el mundo.

Con la ayuda de internet, blogs, redes sociales y demás, su material se ha difundido entre muchos países, lo que llamó la atención del sello mexicano "CADAVER PRODUCTIONS" los cuales le ofrecen un contrato a la banda para hacer la reproducción y distribución del "FUCKING LIAR" en físico alrededor del globo.

Han tenido la oportunidad también de compartir escenario con bandas nacionales e internacionales de gran trayectoria como lo son: Violator (Brazil), Pendejo (Holanda), Tankard (Alemania), Yaotl Mictlan (USA), Intoxxxicated, Inquisidor, Brain Wash, Anabantha (México), Natastor, Krueger, Blasphemy (Venezuela), War thrashed, Hedor, Cuentos de los hermanos grind (Colombia) entre otras.

En el año 2012 Kraptor anuncia el lanzamiento de su nuevo y primer álbum larga duración el cual se titula: "NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD" también bajo su mencionada disquera "CADAVER PRODUCTIONS" El álbum cuenta con la participación de Pedro Poney, vocalista de una de las bandas más reconocidas en la escena del thrash metal mundial de nuestros días: VIOLATOR. También la participación especial de una de las voces más representativas y contundentes de la nueva era de la Bay Area: Rick Rangel de FUELED BY FIRE. El disco se hizo con el mismo equipo de trabajo que participó en el trabajo anterior: Carlos Newball como ingeniero de sonido y productor al igual que Gerónimo Ballesteros en la parte de diseño y artwork del disco.

Para el mes de agosto de 2012 emprenden una gira por México bajo el nombre "KRAPTOR'S UNDEAD CHRONICLES TOUR MEXICO 2012" haciendo alusión a uno de los temas principales de su nuevo disco. En esta gira contaron con ocho fechas alrededor de todo México dando a conocer aún más su material a todos los seguidores del género.

En 2012 Kraptor es elegido para ser la banda soporte de los brasileros Violator en el "METAL WARRIOR FEST VI" en la ciudad de Bogotá, Colombia para el año 2012.

Actualmente el álbum "NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD" está siendo distribuido en países como: Alemania, México, Inglaterra, Chile, Argentina, El salvador, Venezuela, Colombia, Japón y cuenta con excelentes críticas por parte de varios zines y productores, así como músicos de otras bandas de thrash metal reconocidas en la escena, quienes acotaron su opinión al respecto en un video teaser que la banda lanzó por todas sus redes sociales.
