Way back in the cold winter of April 2005, four friends got together to form a band and hav fun. It was mainly due to luck and serendipidous timing that our guitarist Damz (who played drums in a previous band) was available and Leever was born, consisting of KP, Keags, Jet and Damz. Even though none of us were extremely experienced musicians, there was definite chemestry between the four happy-go-lucky dudes, and we were churning out about 2 new songs every pracice, although, needless to say, the early ones were'nt exactly world class material, haha! We had fun playin and after 2 practices, we had our first official gig, which went pretty well in terms of first gigs, seeing that there were no broken strings or ball-drags what-so-ever, haha!!! Progress was temporarily put on hold as three of our four members were in matric and had way too much studying to do (which never happened anyway) not leaving much time for practice or gigs... After matric was over for the three of us, band could once again continue at full steam ahead. And earlier this year(2006) a new, mad skilled, absolute shredder on guitar, Greggie joind the four man show and we're now a very happy quintet, set out to conquer Durban and maybe even the world, moo ha ha... Or maybe just a mini tour down to Cape Town or Joburg, haha! Unfortunately due to work and studying commitments, Jethro left us half way through 2006 and Damz is back on the drums and better than ever! We're now rockin out more than ever and hope to see you all at a show somewhere soon! ROCK ON!!! .. .... ..
