The main reason he became a drummer was because of the actor Arnold Schwarzenegger or precisely because of the movie Terminator II, the Soundtrack »You Could Be Mine« (Guns'n'Roses), which had such an influence on him and wake up in him strong desire of becoming a drummer. The year 1992 was the year he tried playing drums and fell in love with the instrument. His desire and passion were very strong from the beginning, so soon he realized that playing drums is the only thing he wants to do in his life. He started in music school, continued at taking private lessons, visiting workshops, music clinics… Today Marko cooperates with many different musicians. Along with working at music studios, he helps at various concerts, music arrangements. As a drum instructor he teaches at music school BASE (www.base.si) and with his knowledge, long lasting experiences and advices helps all young musicians. He also leads drum clinics and workshops for Tama as an “endorser”. With his main band Elvis Jackson, he goes on tours all around Europe. He’s known of his powerful performances and very unique way of drumming and making unforgettable shows for audience. One of his project is also Metallica cover band (www.notnvun.com), with whom he goes on concerts when he’s not performing with his band Elvis Jackson (www.elvisjackson.com).
