Because i was asked, the purpose of friends lists for me at least on myspace is to have profiles of people's work or even people who might be interested in my work, as "friends", on the friends section so as to be able to locate them easily and them to be able to refer to my work easily, for networking or other purposes; As myspace was created i think for this reason and allows it. As far as i am concerned i don't use myspace as an extension of my bathroom and as a family member meeting place and i don't feel offended by friend requests from people that i don't know yet. In my perception this is a network for various purposes and also for an exchange of cultural messages through the profiles. Even a personal profile may hold a personal cultural watermark in a sense if the person is acting upon his artistic side. Since browsing is allowed and more or less it is an art directed network a network for Artists, i don't have hold any prejudice on my end and some profiles are beautiful; Even from non-artists, from people who choose pictures with internal meaning and just keep the network active. The flow of information. Intelligence is rare in our days, not even galactic one but just the plain human one. If disturbed people were not allowed even to run the society and mark it according to their incomplete perception, everything would be perfect. But because their days are ending on this planet they can enjoy their self-hatred and their psychosis for as long as they can.
