When i was about 5 my dad showed my how to play a simple rock beat on the drums. Around this time my mom started giving me piano lessons. When I was 12 I played my first show with a band called Slippery When Wet, which my brother played bass in. When I was 13 I recorded in my first studio with a band called Black Box Theory. When I was 18 I went to college at UC Santa Barbara to study film. I quickly realized I'd made a mistake and left to pursue music at the New School for Jazz. I had a myspace back when that shit was still owned and operated by Tom, not Rupert Murdoch. .... bands i've ever been in that were remotely real:.. the thinkers.. blind nixon.. angry lawn gnomes.. slippery when wet.. black box theory..
