Singer/songwriter Megan Nicole is a pop artist known for her YouTube cover videos and melodic, dance-oriented songs.
Born Megan Nicole Flores in Houston, Texas in 1993, Nicole first became interested in music around age 10 while playing with a home karaoke machine. This early discovery blossomed into a passion and by her teens, Nicole was singing in her church choir and playing guitar in a church band. In 2009, she began uploading cover song videos to YouTube, beginning with Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody." She developed a large following; a fan base that grew as she collaborated with other video performers including Conor Maynard, Lindsey Stirling, Tiffany Alvord, and others. In 2011, Nicole released her own debut single, "B-e-a-utiful," online, which quickly garnered millions of views. By 2012, she had signed to Bad Boy Records and reached the 29th spot on the Billboard Social 50 list. In 2014, she released her debut EP, Escape, featuring the single "Electrified." ~ Matt Collar
