Nathan first began singing in church at a young age, courtesy of his mother. His momma was more interested in him singing than he was himself. Nathans view of singing did begin to change when his mother would buy him toys for his performance and he thought it to be a good trade lol. As he matured, later at the age of nineteen, didn't have to be bribed anymore and enjoyed singing in church and had bought his first sound system. He would soon come to find out that his performance would begin to be sought after and would get to sing at various places such as regular church services, youth meetings and other types of settings. Nathan did not perform original music at this time and would sing mostly to soundtracks until 1996 when he wrote his first song,"Annointed Virtue". Though he cannot take credit for creating the music of the song, courtesy of his first wife, he did however write the lyrics of the song. It wasn't until 1999 that he began to fully create his own instrumentals to his songs which led to more performances with live music. In 2002, Nathan had put a band together called, "Jacobs Vision". The band didn't last that long due to various reasons but did record a self produced cd at The House of Prayer in Houston County Tennessee. After the death of his father in latter 02, Nathan found himself departing from the church, which led to him stepping away from the music scene. Though he did still pick up the guitar and write some from time to time, it was never the same as it had once been which led to his full departure from music itself. In latter 2008, he and his wife of 14 years then separated and divorced in early 2009. Nathan then found himself experiencing many lonely nights and was living in a very dark place in his life that caused him to separate himself from family and friends. In mid 09 he was talking with his sister by phone and she told him that he needed to pick up the guitar and write again to help pass the time by. Within a wks time of that conversation, he did just that. Nathan then put some new acoustic clips on his existing myspace page that he had created back in 2007 featuring some of his older music from the Jacobs Vision days. Within a wks time of posting the new acoustic song clips, he was contacted by James Breedwell and Pat Groves from the Nashville Palace in Nashville Tennessee, inviting him to come and perform. Needless to say, he was floored by this invitation and gripped by fear due to not being ready to perform, causing him to decline the offer. Nathan then began to write and practice more seriously, preparing himself to be ready for the next time. The next time then came the first wk of January 2010 when he was asked yet again to perform at the Nashville Palace, to which this time he did just that. Nathan then found himself in Atlanta Georgia in February 2010 auditioning for Americas Got Talent, which turned out to be an interesting experience for him. As his audition drew nigh, he found out that he would be allowed to perform his own work, which then helped to release his tension and nerves. Only problem with that was that he choked on his own song! Yep he sure did but it was a learning experience for him that he will never forget. Nathan then made several more appearances at the Nashville Palace and then was contacted by Chris Williams of the new label, Criminally Insane Entertainment/Dissolution Records. Nathan worked under the label until December of 2010. Nathan now resides in Ohio and awaits the next step in his music career.
