ONE MILE SOUTH BIO


In the heart of Oxford, MS, a place where William Faulkner wrote some of literatures most impressive words, Ole Miss Rebel fans cheer on their team and Thacker Mountain Radio shares to the world what an artistic community this small town has to offer, there is a band quickly making it music known throughout the land. If you drive past the city limits down one mile south, you may be able to hear drums drumming, guitars singing and a light show that would catch your eye from any direction. This force to be reckoned with is the country rock band, One Mile South.

One Mile South consists of Will Nelson (lead vocals/acoustic guitar), Chad Ferguson (electric guitar/backup vocals), Mike Logan (drums), Jesse Pinion (lead guitar) and Griffin Forysth (bass). These guys are hometown talents in Oxford and collectively bring 55 years of training and performances to the table with a variety of styles and genres blended to create the One Mile South band.

The band has been perfecting their live show with weekly practices and hours of creating new show ideas. One Mile South is road ready and is committed to their fans to bring something new and exciting at each show as well as to represent Oxford with style and class through their community involvement and charitable causes.
