Our current lineup includes:

Adam Wood (vocals), Lisle Rohlwing (guitar), Chad DC Joykiller (guitar), Luke Hawkinson (bass guitar), and Kevin McGinnis (drums).

OotJ was founded in the summer of 2009 with our original singer Jason Sommers, Rigo Colas on drums, and Joseph Lake on bass. In the beginning OotJ was more of a blend of heavy metal and grunge, with more consideration given to Jason's more melodic vocal style. We have undergone a few lineup changes over the years and come full circle to rejoin with Kevin McGinnis, who was in our earliest incarnation: Exhumer (WI), a grindcore band featuring Lisle, Adam, and Kevin. With our newest line up we have drifted into heavier territory musically with harsher vocals, more guitar harmonies, and more thrash and doom influences surfacing.

There has never been nor will be any particular goal for what our songs should sound like, we try to play what comes natural to us. With influences in hard rock, doom, grindcore, blues, grunge, prog metal, punk, and others, Order of the Jackal’s sound is always evolving, we try to capture different moods and blend different styles to create something unique.

Order of the Jackal recently put out our first official album "King of Slime", on January 16th 2016. We look forward to making some music videos for the new album and getting out on the stage to perform in new towns and see new faces out there that enjoy our brand of metal. \m/

Currently Order of the Jackal is working to complete their first full length album, and expand their loud and energetic live performances to include more widely spread venues. The band is geared up and ready to reinvent the modern metal scene.
