Brandon J McLean always knew what his dream was… to be the next big thing in the Entertainment industry. .... Growing up in a family influenced by Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Michael Jackson, Biggie and Tupac, Brandon loved how they crafted and molded the music they made and moved their audience. So one day, while watching his mother play piano, he began learning the keys and the basics of piano on his own. Joining the Church drama team at 9, Brandon began learning the art of performing and stage etiquette..... Then in 2006 he performed comedy in his first Talent show in middle school, winning 2nd place for most original act. Shortly afterwards, his musical past started to creep back into his life as he was invited to play at the 4th annual Hawkeye Indian Cultural Center Pageant. Ever since then he has annually performed for their special entertainment every year thereafter. .... Then in 2009 he entered into the biggest Talent competition the Town of Raeford has ever seen. Dancing to Man in the Mirror and Playing Human Nature, Brandon won the crowd over and won first place. Unbeknownst to Brandon, there were some local artists in the crowd that wanted him to perform and use some of his strong R&B vocals. Calling themselves, “The Underground Mafia”, Brandon travelled and recorded many songs with the group learning everything about recording on the way. He also changed his Middle name to “Kyng” to fit his, “broke, luxurious outtakes of life.” Then in December, he decided to leave the rap group after seeing opportunity as a solo artist. “All I need is a chance to show the world my potential and help my communities along the way… .... ” Brandon “Kyng” McLean will be performing as special entertainment for the North Carolina Native American Youth Organization (NCNAYO) in one of the biggest stages in the North Carolina..... The Givens Performing Art Center Coliseum in Pembroke, N.C which holds 1,600+ seats “This is gonna be it,” says Brandon..... “He is ready to go out on that stage and show the world what he is made of!”.... Now signed to NOSR he will continue to make steps in the music industry!!!

Brandon "Kyng" McLean
Born in Cumberland county, NC
