Its name derived literally from the amalgamation into a single entity from all of the styles and takes on the genres of Heavy Metal, Gothic, Symphonic and Progressive Rock Music as branded by Mido of Shadow Mask, Kensuke of Athenia, Alvaro of Petralvar, Khepri of Scarlet Storm and Petra of Petra Metal Queen. Their album is designed as a taster for the respective projects from Shadow Mask, Athenia, Petralvar and Scarlet Storm as it is intended that individual albums from each project will follow Amalga's release.
