"I have an incredible love and passion for singing and performing," declares the 14 year old singing sensation, Saveria. This London, Ontario girl isn't exactly your typical adolescent. "I like to sing R&B pop because I grew up listening to my mother playing Motown music. I have always been a fan. When I sing R&B pop it makes me feel good." "When I was four, my mother told me I would pretend I was performing on stage for an audience," she reflects. "She put me in vocal lessons and when I sang at my first recital, after I heard the applause and everyone was smiling and telling me what a good singer I was, I knew from that day I wanted to continue to sing and perform for people. It made me so happy that people liked what I love to do." With the support of her mother and older brothers, Saveria has been performing at various fundraisers, events and contests while maintaining straight "A's". She credits her family with keeping her grounded. When Saveria was nine she sent in her home made audition tape to the tween group Minipops and was hired on the spot. Working with this popular act gave Saveria the training ground she needed to develop her talent and a small dose of national exposure and notoriety . It wasn't a surprise that she caught the attention of well-respected A&R executive Steven Rosen . "I have not seen or heard a talent this amazing at such a young age since I worked with Christina Aguilera when Christina was making her debut record at 17 years old," Rosen adds. Saveria is now able to unite her true talent with opportunity, resulting in a new relationship with Family Channel and her involvement with the Channel's 2010 Bullying Awareness Week (BAW). Saveria wrote the song "Don't Push Me Down for BAW and is donating a portion of the proceeds to PREVnet, a sponsor of BAW with the Family Channel. The song is currently featured on the Family Channel website and soon will be accompanied by a video. November 15th- 21st the Channel will launch its BAW campaign that will include footage of Saveria performing at two of the four winning school's for the Family Channel's BAW rally's. She is also shooting a TV show with the Channel of interstitials giving us an inside view of Saveria as she shows us the work it takes a young singer to realize her dreams. Currently Saveria has released "Don't Push Me Down" and "Do Whatcha Gotta Do", another song she wrote and will be featured on her TV show, digitally. "I feel so blessed to have been discovered, to be given the opportunity to show my talent to the world and to have love and support from family, friends and fans. Singing, writing songs and performing is my passion. There's nothing else in the world that I would rather do." youtube saveria74 www.twitter.com/saveria_4_real
