    Born in Elmhurst Hospital in the borough of Queens, New York on March 27 to Dominican born parents Smoke N Mirrorz (who consist of twin brothers Twin LS & Son Dub) found their passion for hip hop music & culture throughout the 90's. They began to write & make beats at the age of 10 inspired from what they heard on cassette and what they saw on the streets. In the mid 90's there family relocated down south to Orlando Florida where they were well known in their high school for beat boxing & spitting rhymes in ciphers and rap battles throughout the streets of south Orlando. Making beats is a big part of who they are, throughout their teenage years (prior to all the technology we have nowadays) they would make beats with an old school radio, a 20 dollar keyboard from Radio Shack, a thick sheet of plywood and a small jar half-full with rice. They laid down verses on homegrown mix tapes they produced themselves hosting skip party's at their house with their crew DMB and other affiliates inspired by brews, blunts, girls & graffiti. They amazed their peers with the hobby and progressed with technology through the years. As there high school years passed along with cipher freestyles, battles & battle events in the next few years they decided to take music more seriously and make it more business than pleasure, focusing on becoming artists and producers and try to make it a profession. About a year later Smoke N Mirrorz (then named simply Da Twinnz) signed with 4th King productions out of Tampa Florida where they quickly learned how to compose full-length songs with then producer Bigg Manny. With neighborhood friends Toni Terenzi, Lucian and Tec Dawg 4th King Productions began to do shows attracting crowds at local club Mirage, a performance at the Convention Center & The Marriot Hotel in Orlando, Club Masquerades in Ybor city and a couple of small clubs in Tampa. They were also featured on internet radio shows, had some of there songs played on a local radio station then called "La Mega" on a night for upcoming hispanic local artists and they also contributed songs on mix tapes from local underground DJ's. In late 2004 4th King Productions closed down their studio for undisclosed purposes and all artists were released with little to no material of which they had composed over the years. They would later reunite in 2007 with 4th King productions for a local show at a bar in Kissimmee Florida headed by Big Pete & Bigg Manny. Trying to make it on their own in life they experienced there set of trials & tribulations the twins decided to lay low , block the world out and focus on making money to set themselves up with their own home studio one day but still did not stop writing and making beats. In 2007 they began to record music again with cousin AOK from the Advokit Drum Core and drop tracks like Xclusive, Xtra Xtra and Dark America which was a collaboration track by an overseas DJ by the name of DJ Cutstro and highly favored by MySpace Music fans. Unfortunately in 2008 they came across another bump in the road when (then Advokit Studio owner) Rumy was detained by ICE and deported to his country of Bangladesh, again losing most of there recordings in the process. In 2008 the twins finally got there own home recording studio and would later team up with little brother Freemind, Antlife and AOK to become "The G.I. League". In early 2010 they dropped their first official mix tape compilation with The G.I. League entitled 'Time Is Of The Presence' which is buzzing in their local areas and throughout the internet which you can find on all major music retailers throughout the web. Inspired by the likes of artists and producers such as Nas, Dr. Dre, Rza, Method Man & Redman, M.O.P., Swizz Beats, Just Blaze, Joel Ortiz, Sean Price and Jay Electronica, Smoke N Mirrorz bring raw & witty lyrics like: "You see, you try to get the best of me but I brung out your baddest/ Not bad meaning good but bad meaning below average/" or "So leave the microphone at home/ You gon' always be a square like studio foam/". Their exclusively unique production provided by themselves and their crew The G.I. League is undeniably 100% pure fire. When asked where they see themselves in the future they both agree on just being content with whatever God has planned for them, almost sounding as if the speed bumps in there past have never affected them, from the sounds of the music their future's look pretty good. Look past the smoke & mirrors.
