I'm a 6'7" viking behemoth from Tampa, FL. I'm the lead guitarist of a Tampa black metal band called Imperial Conquest. I’m deceptively easy-going and overly nice considering my looks, height, and choice of music. I play guitar and drums, and can occasionally be found molesting my lovely fretless. I kind of mess around with my clarinet, but I really don't like it much. Given my recent affinity with middle eastern music, the instrument known as the baglama saz is on my list of musical instruments to conquer. I like extreme metal (thrash/death/black) the most, especially the progressive/jazzy types. However, I also like some industrial metal, grunge, jazz, classical, jazz-fusion, hiphop and middle-eastern folk music from time to time.

I like reading, Tolkien is the shit. And no, not because of Lord of the Rings, but because of the Silmarillion. Read it. I've also taken a liking to R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt Do'Urden dark elf books. In fact, D&D books set in the Forgotten Realsm setting so far have worked out rather well for me. Other favorite reading subjects are history, mythology, fantasy, philosophy, and ancient culture/politics, that sort of thing. And ah yes, computers.

My favorite beers are Russian Imperial Stouts, for their rich roasted goodness, and Indian Pale Ales for their strong bite. My favorite store beers are Heineken and Sam Adams. In all practicality though, I'm most commonly seen downing Natty's and pbr's.

I recently graduated with a bachelors in computer science from USF, and am currently working as a Web Developer/psuedo-software engineer of sorts at a health insurance company. I'd like to eventually get into project management, or perhaps some kind of development working at an epic company like Google or Valve.

Oh yes, and then there's video games. I love me some video games. PC games that is. Half Life 2. Portal. Bioshock. The Witcher. Oblivion. Neverwinter Nights. I love them damn RPGs, but also *good* FPS's.
