COMING SOON!COMING SOON!COMING SOON! ...... Utah's underground finally caught up with Statick for a long awaited interview! To get into the head of Statick we had to come with some personal questions, and with his album "Shock Therapy" coming soon we needed some questions answered! This interview took place on Januaray 25th of '08'.. At 8:08pm.. ((Reporter))..So Statick it's almost as if you vanished off the face of the earth and came out the shadows? ((Statick))..Well I needed a break and my mind was else where for a while. I kinda got caught up in some drama for a minute there,but I'm back to life now! ((Reporter))..Now where would you say HipHop/rap is today? ((Statick))..I mean hiphop is a creative culture. It has its ups and downs just like any thing else,and it will change always. Just be real with yourself,then your real! ((Reporter))..Do you feel like you made some what of an Impact on Utah's Underground Scene? ((Statick))..Well I would hope so! I've been doing this for a very long time now and I've worked with mc's from all over Utah. As long as I'm making good music and doing my thing then I'm ready! ((Reporter))..So is there any mc's you like or think is hot right now? ((Statick))..Well ya there's some dope Mc's in Utah. There is diffently some talent out here. But unity is what this state needs, solo could only could take you so far! ((Reporter))..Has there been any set backs through your mc career? ((Statick))..There's always set backs in any project you do. Mine were just more personal is all! ((Reporter))..Where do you see your self in the next 5 years? ((Statick))..I'm not to sure yet, but I know I'll still be making music. And hopefully I'll be more on a level with my fans than anything! ((Reporter))..So why did you decide to remake "One By One"? ((Statick))..Well when it was first recorded I didn't feel to comfortable with that song. And I kinda felt that song was a head of It's time. So I remade it 4 years later and changed it around a lil. It's ready now! ((Reporter))..So how do you feel about your new album "Shock Therapy" and when will it be released? ((Statick))..Well the funny thing is, that album was supposed to be released a long time ago. But it should be ready around the summer of '08'. I believe It's ready now and I'm ready too! ((Reporter))..We understand that you quit rapping all together,to fight for custody of your daughter? ((Statick))..Dam you guy's know everything. Well ya I did quit everything so I could consentrate on court and things. They say if you give up what you love something better will take It's place. I'm still waiting for something better so I'm back even more determand and stronger! ((Reporter))..So when will we see you back on stage? ((Statick))..Well hopefully really soon. Just to name a few.. And of course some locals of Utah.. Expo,Mccp,Mc Blu,Delux,Kaotic,Krak,Flowzy,BlackSocraties,Spitsofrantic,Crittakal,LostBrothers,Reckless,SupremeHustle,Kalyde,MannieFiness,Trouble and many others! And I've worked with a few of them also.. I've been doing my thing for a minute now.. and I'm hoping I've Influenced or Inspired some artist's as well.. Music changes all tha time..
