  • Sugarland News Roundup: CMAs, ACAs, PCAs, and our first tour date of 2012!

    News you can use:

See 'Em on the CMAs: "Country's Biggest Night" got a little bigger this week with the announcement that we'll be performing as part of the 45th Annual CMA Awards, live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. We're also up for Vocal Duo of the Year, which in and of itself is a great honor about which we are extremely excited. No word yet on what we'll be performing -- well, WE certainly know, but we're not gonna tell YOU yet -- so you are encouraged to speculate in the comments.

Peace Out, Man: We have also been given the incredible privilege of performing at this year's Nobel Peace Prize Concert, honoring Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Leymah Gbowee and Tawakkul Karman for what the Norwegian Nobel Committee calls "their non-violent struggle for the safety of women and for women's rights to full participation in peace-building work." The concert takes place on December 11th in Oslo, Norway; our fellow performers include Janelle Monae, Jill Scott, David Gray, and Matthew Morrison from Glee. If you are so inclined (or looking for an excuse to visit Norway), tickets are on sale now.

Vote Early, Vote Often: We've been nominated for two fan-voted honors, and we need your help! Set an alarm and make your voice heard daily by voting for Sugarland in the American Country Awards (you can do that here) and the People's Choice Awards (hit them up here; we are currently just nominated to be nominated, so let's get to work, people). As always, we can't do it without you (and your family) (and your friends) (and your dog, who you previously trained to vote).

2012 Here We Come: And last but certainly not least, we've got a show on the books for next year! Yes, you can come see us on August 17th, 2012 when we'll be headlining the Bi-Mart Willamette Country Music Festival in Brownsville, Oregon! Sugarpass presale info coming soon... see you there?

As always, you can get all the info you'll ever need on Sugarland at our website: Sugarlandmusic.com!
  • Sugarland returns to Indiana for free concert October 28th

Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush of country duo Sugarland will be returning to Indiana for a free concert at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on October 28th. This full-band show will also serve as the final stop of Sugarland's 2011 Incredible Machine Tour. Special guests will be announced at a later date.

It is Sugarland's intention to honor all previous ticketholders for the August 13th Indiana State Fair date at this newly-added show, regardless of refund status. Ticket distribution will start with a first-come, first-serve "presale" for previous ticketholders before the release of seats to the general public. The "presale" will begin Oct. 10th at 10 a.m. ET, and end Oct. 14th at midnight ET.

Fans who bought State Fair show tickets online or via telephone through Ticketmaster or the Indiana State Fair (ISF) will receive unique passwords via email or phone to redeem the same number of tickets they originally purchased. To visit the event page on Ticketmaster.com for this "presale," please click here.

Fans who participated in the Sugarpass fan club presale will receive an email with ticket redemption instructions for use here on Sugarlandmusic.com.

Original Sugarpit ticketholders will have first priority to choose Sugarpit for this show as well.
Previous ticketholders who do not receive an email or who purchased their tickets in person at the ISF box office or other outlet should contact Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000 beginning Oct. 10th at 10 a.m. ET to request seats. Proof of original purchase in the form of a receipt is recommended.

Remaining seats for the Conseco Fieldhouse show will be released to the general public Saturday, October 15th at 10 a.m. ET on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets will be available free of cost and service fees via Ticketmaster.com for as long as supplies last. Ticket limit is four (4) per household. To visit the event page on Ticketmaster, please click here.

Conseco Fieldhouse is the home of the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever, located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Doors on the night of the performance will open at 6:30 p.m.; the show will begin at 7:30. Contributions to the Indiana State Fair Remembrance Fund will be gratefully accepted throughout the night.

For more information on Sugarland's return to Indiana and/or how to redeem previously purchased tickets for this performance, please visit Sugarlandmusic.com.
  • The Little Miss Project Live in Syracuse, NY: Thank you, fans.

We were incredibly moved by the Little Miss Project Live the fans created during our show at the New York State Fair in Syracuse this weekend. Two schoolteachers named Julie and Amy organized the project, distributing over 6,000 signs of healing and remembrance for the crowd to raise during "Little Miss." We want to thank Julie and Amy -- and everyone who participated -- for reaching out with so much hope. Thank you, fans. You are loved.
