    .... Sun On Sunday's music is a kind of Rock deeply distorted and corrupted by Blues and Country, with great influences from Funk too, a sound that anyway remains always original. It's the synthesis of the different experiences, influences and tastes of these four musicians. Sun On Sunday were born in Spring 2007 from the union of other musical experiments, when the singer-guitarist Pierpaolo Marconcini meets the bass player Marco Milani and the guitar player Lorenzo Macchiavelli, creating the first centre of the band; later drummer Bruno Viscardi join the group defining the final line-up. These four guys start to work hard and during winter 2007/08 record a promotional demo in their performing studio, the title is Sunday Rocks! and contains 4 new tracks. So begin a period of live concerts in Bologna and more. In may 2008 the band is invited in Belgium for a Festival in the city of Rebecq. During summer and autumn the concerts goes on. From march to may 2009 the band take part in a contest organized by RadioCittaFujiko and they win it with a set of 6 new songs. In the same summer the group starts to record the first album while keep on touring. .. .. .... La musica dei Sun on Sunday si configura come un Rock profondamente distorto e corrotto da influenze Blues e Country, senza tralasciare ampie concessioni al Funk, una sonorità che rimane però sempre originale. E' la sintesi delle diverse esperienze, influenze e gusti musicali dei quattro componenti rimanendo un' unità coerente. I Sun on Sunday nascono nella Primavera del 2007 alla confluenza di diverse esperienze musicali, quando il cantante e chitarrista Pierpaolo Marconcini si unisce al bassista Marco Milani e al chitarrista Lorenzo Macchiavelli formando così il primo nucleo della band; poco tempo dopo si aggiunge il batterista Bruno Viscardi andando a delineare la line-up definitiva del gruppo. I quattro musicisti si mettono subito al lavoro e durante l'inverno 2007/08 registrano nella loro sala prove un demo promozionale chiamato Sunday Rocks! contenente quattro brani inediti. Inizia così un periodo dedicato ai concerti live nella zona di Bologna e non solo. Nel Maggio del 2008 il gruppo è infatti invitato ad un Festival a Rebecq (Belgio). Durante l'Estate e l'Autunno 2008 continuano le esperienze dal vivo. Da marzo a maggio 2009 i Sun On Sunday partecipano ad un concorso organizzato da RadioCittàFujiko e lo vincono, con un set di 6 canzoni inedite. Nell'Estate 2009 il gruppo si chiude in sala di incisione per registrare il primo disco, grazie anche al premio del contest appena vinto, mentre continua regolarmente l'attività live. .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .......... ...... ..........
