St. Louis hell-bent rockers the Trip Daddys have been molding their rowdy rock ways since the mid-'90s.
Guitarist/frontman Craig Straubinger, bassist Jamey Almond, and drummer Dave Easley have been perfecting the punk rock snarls over rollicking riffs since 1996, playing shows alongside the likes of Dick Dale, Nashville Pussy, BR-549, Brian Setzer, and Speedealer. They issued their debut, To Hell and Back in a Cadillac, in 1999. A year later, the Trip Daddys self-released their second album, Made Me Do It. Wild and fierce, Made Me Do It took the Trip Daddys out of their Southern home findings into some of rock's biggest scenes. A third effort, Hot Chicks and Fast Kicks (2001), continued the surge. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
