    Vile Display of Humanity is a band whose sound is old and new at the same time, like a 2-headed snake eating itself alive. It can't be, but it is. The brutally raw rhythm underlies melodic lead guitar and powerful lyrics that make you wonder how something so fresh and original wasn't created thirty years ago. Albeit hard to find bands whose sound is similar to V.D.H. you can hear heavy influence from Black Flag, The Misfits, and Choking Victim. Their sound is so completely devastating that by the end of their first album, you'll thirst for more. .... Vile Display of Humanity formed as a band in the summer of 2007 in a basement in Chicago, Illinois. They put together their first full length record (self titled) before Christmas of that year. Opening for bands such as, The Star Fucking Hipsters, MDC, Agent Orange, and Mouth Sewn Shut, the band soon made a name for themselves in the Chicago Punk scene. For the next 2 years, V.D.H. worked hard to play every show they could in and around the Chicago area. In 2008 the bands line up changed when their 1st drummer left the band for personal reasons. Even through rough waters, the band prevailed. By Christmas 2008 Vile Display of Humanity recorded their second full length, titled 'Savor the Flavor'. This records release date was delayed however when the band uprooted from Chicago in the summer of 2009 and headed for the west coast. Their second drummer decided to remain in Illinois. Seattle, Washington is the city that Vile Display decided to put down new roots in. While in search of a new drummer, they finished production of 'Savor The Flavor'. Within 3 months of the move, V.D.H. found a new drummer and rented a space to rehearse in. Within 4 they played their first show at the Bit Saloon in Ballard. Between June of 2009 and June of 2010, Vile Display of Humanity played many different venues in the Seattle area and started writing the songs that will be recorded for their 3rd full length, due to be released before Christmas, 2010. The band also has plans to be touring the west coast by the end of the year as well. .. ...... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..
