Bio:

I was born in London. I have lived most of my life since I was 3 in New York with a couple of years in different places like Tanzania and Seattle. I started playing Bass when I was 13 and within a short period of time i began to play in clubs around the NYC area. I have been fortunate to have been surrounded by many talented and interesting musicians in my life, from the time when i was a young kid and my father, who was involved in the Avant Garde Jazz scene had a loft and would have musicians over to play. My musical tastes are all over the map and i listen with open ears to all styles: Classical, Jazz, Funk, folk, Soul, Country, Rap, Rock, Electronica, World, I realize that these terms used to describe music can only go so far, but what moves me in any kind of art is a transference of energy, and an expression of beauty. Some of the projects that i have been involved in include, Lost Tribe, Screaming Headless Torsos, Meshell N'degeocello, Chris Potter, Natalie Merchant, and many others. I have a CD out on the Tzadik label and I hope to have my second CD finished by the end of 2006. .. ..
