Since 1999, Iszoloscope has been casting the musical conceptualization of isolation and its induced altered states of consciousness into a powerful, ominous, and immersive world of dark, distorted sonic aesthetic that can be called its very own. Seamlessly bending stylistic constraints by creating a fusion of industrial, break-core, rhythmic noise, psy-trance, electro-acoustic and ambient music; this artistic endeavor sets an exceptional standard in hard, hybrid electronic music.

    The native-born Jamaican Marvin Anthony Burnett aka Sledgy was born in St. James at September, 27th in 1973.
    At the age of sixteen he came with his brother to Germany to stay with his mother and live a better life. Shortly afterwards young Anthony got down with rapping.
    To do music brings a lot of joy to him. Music is a great pleasure for Sledgy; he feels committed to make music.

    It helped him through his hard time after his entry into Germany which was totally foreign to him at that time.
    After he had rapped a long time for himself to take his mind off his worries, Burnett signed a contract with the label Power Jam Records.
    With conclusion of the treaty his music career begins.

    Under the name of Marvin Burnett he performs onstage (YOU) two times and at Funworld, Bodensee. Furthermore his music appeared on Radio K?ln and Radio 7.
    For two years he has been under contract to Power Jam Records which is known as GUMAK Media e.K. today.

    The Jamaican Burnett is also charitable. He gave many benefit performances, among others at K?lner Zoo, in a retirement home and not least at town hall in Cologne- Kalk.

In 2001, Iszoloscope gained world-wide attention performing at the German underground music festival Maschinenfest and releasing its debut album, "Coagulating Wreckage", on Belgium's Spectre Records... The next year marked the release of the ambient / musique concrète album "Aquifère" on the conceptual label Nautilus. Following this, Iszoloscope supported a successful American tour with Swedish project Tarmvred after developing into a blend of industrial noise and break beats haunted by elaborate sound beds and granulated choir work...
