PAZI MINE è un progetto musicale sperimentale nato nel 2006 come collaborazione a due tra SARA ARDIZZONI (Pilar Ternera) alle chitarre e voce, e MIRCO GARGIONI alla batteria. Due percorsi artistici differenti che hanno saputo sviluppare e coniugare un profilo acustico ed uno elettrico, senza porsi confini, in un mix di generi dinamico e inclassificabile, evocativo, aperto ad esplorazioni e collaborazioni, tra rock, noise, ambient e improvvisazione. Con questa formazione Pazi Mine hanno registrato tra dicembre 2006 e gennaio 2007 con GIULIO FAVERO ( One Dimensional Man, Teatro degli Orrori, Putiferio), negli studi NHQ di Ferrara e BloccoA di Padova, collaborando inoltre con BRIAN RITCHIE (Violent Femmes) durante le registrazioni . Con la dipartita di Mirco, Pazi Mine dalla primavera 2008 diventa un TRIO con una nuova formazione: Sara Ardizzoni resta alla chitarra e voce, ALESSIO CAPRA (Super Elastic Bubble Plastic) alla batteria e MAURO FOGLI (Why I Lie, Captain Nemo) all'altra chitarra. Registrano un demo nell'agosto 2008 grazie all'aiuto di Luca Magni, condensando in sei pezzi le infinite influenze musicali che spaziano dalle composizioni destrutturate dei Massacre, all'amore per l'eclettismo di Marc Ribot, ai battiti pesanti di Melvins e Neurosis, alle melodie dolenti di Unwound, a riff taglienti di atmosfera Albiniana, fino a qualche spasmo contaminato da lancinanti echi di Sonic Youth. Nell'autunno 2008 Mauro Fogli lascia la band e per per tutti gli show invernali viene sostituito da GIANNI MORANDINI (super elastic bubble plastic). Finito il tour invernale la band vede un nuovo cambio di lineup con l'ingresso al basso di FRANCESCO ARTIOLI (Welch, Hollywood Perverse) e MARCO BEIATO (Hollywood Perverse, Colossus&Colibrì) alla chitarra. Nella versione quartetto la band raggiunge la stabilità nell'estate 2009 ed inizia una costante attività live. Nel giugno 2010 i Pazi Mine tornano in studio, questa volta sotto la direzione artistica di GIOVANNI FERLIGA (Aucan), avvalendosi poi nella fase di mastering di GIULIO FAVERO e GIOVANNI VERSARI. Pazi Mine uscirà per SuperFake Recordings nell'ottobre 2010. .... Pazi Mine is a musical project that started as a duo between SARA ARDIZZONI and MIRCO GARGIONI in 2006 mixing rock, noise , ambient and improvisation. Pazi Mine recorded in January 2007 with GIULIO FAVERO ( One Dimensional Man, Teatro degli Orrori, Putiferio) at NHQ studio in Ferrara and BloccoA studio in Padua, collaborating with BRIAN RITCHIE (Violent Femmes) during the sessions. After Mirco left the band Pazi Mine restarted as a trio, condensing the countless influences, from the weird structures of Fred Frith's Massacre, to the eclectic lines of Marc Ribot , ending up melting heavy beats in a Neurosis..Melvins style with a sore sense melody, cutting riffs and piercing echoes remanding of the Albini sound and Sonic Youth. Pazi Mine reached a steady line up in the summer of 2009 as a quartet: SARA ARDIZZONI (guitar and voice) , FRANCESCO ARTIOLI (bass and voice), MARCO BEIATO (guitar and synth), ALESSIO CAPRA (drums). The debut album was recorded by GIOVANNI FERLIGA (Aucan) in June 2010 at BloccoA studio in Padua and supervised by GIULIO FAVERO and GIOVANNI VERSARI for the mastering session.
